Have you considered telling your readers what you’re working on? Do you think it’s a good or bad idea?
My name is Andy Traub and I help people tell their stories in a way that maximizes their impact. If you'd like to create your own custom channel to reach the world then I can help. Just

It is a great idea to tell your readers what you’re working on. The excitement that is built can propel your business forward.
I’ve added Andy’s podcast to my list and can’t wait to hear it. I’m also thinking of Ian’s but will wait on adding him.
@Joe Lalonde Ian’s is going to be pretty blunt show. You’ll find it fascinating I’m sure. Andy’s is fun at times and VERY serious at others because of his new book. Thx for reading and commenting brother. I appreciate you very much. How’s the commenting gig with Hyatt going?
@andytraub Nice, knowing that I’ll have to add Ian to my list of podcasts.
The commenting at Michael’s blog is going well.I think it’s helping grow his comments and community.
But at times it appears overwhelming and I marvel at how he handled it when he didn’t have any community leaders.
@Joe Lalonde He couldn’t handle it…that’s why he’s got you
@andytraub Oh, I know it was getting out of hand by the time he brought us on but still. He did an amazing job until that point.

I enjoyed this post. I have never thought about sharing what I am working on. Is that because I have kept my business blog for tips? encouragement? information? non-personal? all facts? Maybe. Is it because I am afraid to be me on my blog? Feel I will loose my clients? Feel they will look down on me? Feel that my competitors will use it against me? Feel criticized a lot already for what I share on my personal blog and am told its “too much”? Maybe. I don’t mind sharing on my personal blog what I am up to, but business somehow has been harder for me to interact that way. Definitely food for thought!
@Misty Gilbert It’s your blog right? Can’t you make it whatever you want it to be? If you don’t want to, don’t. If you want to, do. Claim it..it’s yours. Thx for commenting. Means a lot
@andytraub You are welcome! Thanks for the additional feedback. I will be me!
I like to include projects that I am working on for my readers, Now I just have to figure out how to get and keep readers…As a reader, I like knowing what bloggers and writers I am following are up to. It is great to watch them put themselves on the line for accountability, and great way to pick up a few ideas on things I can work on myself. It is especially amazing when a person even follows through with information of projects that have to be dropped or may have blown up in their faces. The stories of how they have lived to tell make great lessons, and can inspired others to at least give a few new ideas a try.
@J Cleveland Payne Taking what you’ve just written J I encourage you to keep writing, keep interacting and just keep creating. Even if no one is reading you’ll be getting better at your writing while they’re not reading. When they show up you’ll be better than when they weren’t showing up. Make sense? Make your mistakes now
