No more accountability partners

Stop asking other people to help keep you accountable to do the things that will change your life.

That’s what I told myself this weekend. This morning I woke up at 4:53am and started going through the things I wanted to get done today. By 7am my to do list looked like this.

I have four goals every day and the Lift app (@liftapp) helps me keep track of my progress. It’s available for iOS, has a web view and is coming to Android soon.Download it by clicking here (iOS) (free).

Your best accountability partner is you.
As long as it takes someone else you’ll lean on them as a crutch. If they go away so will your willpower.

How to achieve crazy goals
Set some crazy goals and then set simple daily goals that result in those crazy goals being met.

Filter later. Do it now
I wrote 2,457 words this morning. It doesn’t matter how many of them were good or will end up in whatever book I finish. I’m closer to my goal today and that’s what matters. Start using Lift and take responsibility for your success or failure.

Remember: Want is cheap. Do is expensive. Stop being cheap or it will cost your your dreams. Tweet that
