Why we connect with other people
You connect with these people because they’ve been through hardship. They had to overcome. Having heroes is a great idea but it’s important to remember who they were before you focus on who they are. They wouldn’t be who they are if it weren’t for what they went through. Your story is not finished. Every “famous” person I know that achieved a level of success I want to achieve has a story of overcoming something.
You’re not dead yet so you’re not finished
If you’re in the middle of overcoming something then see it for what it is…part of your story. Your story isn’t finished so keep going. Perspective is everything so keep a healthy one.
